Child Cancer Foundation
The Child Cancer Foundation believes that no child suffering from cancer, or their family, should ever feel alone. They write, "We provide ongoing practical, emotional and financial assistance to children, and their families, whose lives have been changed forever by this life threatening disease. We also support the health professionals that treat children with cancer and invest in research into the late effects of the disease."
As a result of our own family's involvement with a child who had cancer and the subsequent employment by the Child Cancer Foundation of one of our directors, we have more than a passing interest in supporting the Child Cancer Foundation in New Zealand.
Involvement in the December 2008 Funrazor in Wellington is one of the practical ways we have expressed support for the Foundation. Pictured: Philip (St Mary's, Whitby Youthworker) & Terry (Co-Director & Manager, Value Websites).
